The Young Leaders Board will ensure young people are not just heard, but centred in everything we do. This board plays a vital role in shaping our campaigns, advising on strategy, and holding us accountable to our mission of empowerment. Members will co-create initiatives, offer lived experience insight, and help lead the charge for youth voice in policy and service design. This may also include co-hosting youth consultations and events at a national level, whilst creating the frameworks for regional efforts. It’s all about shared leadership. The Youth Empowerment Coalition will be our key, nationwide, multisectoral partnership uniting organisations and leaders who believe in embedding equity and empowerment into the heart of youth development. We’re looking for a coalition of industry leaders, local businesses, charities, policy and research organisations, universities, youth services, schools, local authorities, and government bodies. All under a shared mission: to ensure all young people are equipped, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Members will co-develop initiatives, champion youth voice, influence policy reform, and adopt YOUTHOOD’s innovative frameworks within their own fields. It’s about building collective momentum for change — and setting a national standard for what meaningful youth support should look like.

YOUTHOOD’s vision is ambitious — and to make it a reality, we need funders and grant providers who can help turn bold ideas into measurable impact. Alongside our national campaigns, we aim to develop regional strategy partnerships that bring together local authorities, youth services, and schools to shape locally rooted, youth-led solutions. With strong financial backing, we can deliver commissioned consultations and co-designed programmes that directly equip and empower young people across communities.
